What is your view of women?

In my country, Afghanistan, like in many other muslim countries, the holy Quran is the highest law of the land and the Shariah, religious laws based on the holy Quran, is the code of justice. Religious laws, if fully complied with, are fair, just and suitable for the people of our land. It is the religious laws that specify the duty and obligation of man and woman.

According to the Shariah, man has a privileged status, such as, among other things, the right to marry four women at the same time, the unrestricted right to divorce his wife and the right to have full custody of the children. However, man's privileged status must be exercised fairly in full compliance with the religious laws. In reality, since there is no enforcement of the religious laws, only the men with religious virtue or those with self-imposed discipline are in compliance, like the rule of jaywalking in New York City. Many men openly violate the rules of Shariah and take advantage of their privileged status to unfairly discriminate against women and wrongly think of themselves as superior and consider women as inferior which is absolutely not true because the holy Quran also teaches us that in the eyes of the Creator, men and women are all the same.

I hope someday soon there will also be civil laws to strongly enforce the religious laws and to punish the violators. I also strongly criticize those hypocritical rulers, legislators, politicians and bureaucrats who practice and enjoy the luxurious Western life style inside their homes or when they are outside of their country and yet they will not allow the women in their own country to exercise the right to vote or even to drive a car.

What type of woman do you most appreciate?

The professional woman that does not leave the duty of motherhood entirely in the hands of hired help.

What is your view of women?

Women in all their variety are human first and as various as humans are. We are nothing without women. Women are everything. They need to be and always will be at the very center of human life.

What type of woman do you most appreciate?

Urban African-American women in their late 30s to mid-50s; music lovers, street-level intellectuals, soulful and wise.

What is your view of women?

Women are very different from men, and they are the best companion of a man. They complement each other. It is obvious that to make babies you need a woman. The ideal is for man and a woman to raise a child together.

What type of woman do you most appreciate?

I like honesty, fairness, gentleness, bravery, also sexy. I like women who like to make themselves attractive. When I see a beautiful woman walking in the streets, I turn around to look at her.

What is your view of women?

Sublime creatures! My mother was actually one believe it or not! I always thought her sublime. I'm not sure my father always agreed with me.

What type of woman do you most appreciate?

One who loves me unequivocally -- that I can appreciate for both her passion and her mind.
